Ok ok hear me out!
What if after the war, Those Who Slither in the Dark captured Edelgard and Byleth tried to use the divine powers she lost to rescue her, but she ends up transforming into a dragon instead?
I just wanted to draw a dragon ok?! The angst got out of hand, I'm crying here too! XD
Dragon!Byleth is one of my favorite head canons in this fandom. I love how us edeleth fans all share one big brain with so many head canons and we fuel each others ideas with it.

I'm trying to not get too deep into it but it truly seems to be all there is in everyone's minds right now... Some days are easier to cope than others, and letting out the dark feelings through art seems to be helping a little, enough to focus on brighter art. Now more than ever I think it's necessary to help everyone stay positive and I'll try to do my part.

Ok from personal experience I saw a friend play the games throughout the years but wasn't driven enough to play because of the infamous "characters die and don't come back" thing. When Fire Emblem Awakening came out I decided to try (also my bff nagged me to no end to try) was the first one I played and I fell instantly for the series, good story, interesting characters. Marth is even mentioned and appears (sorta, won't spoil!) in Awakening.

yeah it was a shock when I heard it the first time too. It makes every step count and use strategy well. They inserted the "casual mode" in Awakening which means characters don't die, they just fall out of battle and come back the next battle. Like a retreat option if you will. They have added this mode since Awakening.
There isn't really a sequence to play I think, from what I can tell Awakening has some sort of connection to the old games, therefore Marth appearing and being mentioned. But that one, Fates and Three Houses don't really have to be played in any order. They have different stories and world lore.

I can't stop working, and it hasn't been much of a difference since I'm freelancing lol but will try to balance it out to not burnout haha. And will keep bringing new art whenever possible to try brighten everyone's day even if for a bit.

That's more or less what happens in Silver Snow... sort of.Β If you pick the Black Eagles, from what I heard, Rhea is the final boss regardless of which branch in the route you take.Β Supposedly, at the end of Silver Snow, her powers go out of control... somehow, and you have to put her down.Β My only guess why they did that is because they didn't want to reuse the same final boss for the Golden Deers, aside from the fact there's sort of a story reason why that boss is Golden Deer exclusive, is because they design each final boss with the idea that you didn't recruit anybody at all, and rather than design two bosses with the Black Eagles' kits in mind, it was more efficient to more or less recycle the same one.
