Description
I had a rough week, so I decided to start working on a short story about one of my OCs. The basic premise: Zeke Coleman, an obese office worker, runs into an otherworldly entity known as the Dice Devil. Normally more hostile to the poor souls that run across him, the demon takes a liking to Zeke and makes him a deal: in exchange for three wishes, Zeke has to complete three challenges. However, before each task, he has to roll the die, an action that ends up having more effects than the fat cat initially expected.

Almost finished with the rough draft. I think of this as more of a spiritual successor to my Splitter stories, but less pessimistic. I like the general premise and I figured, since I've used Zeke so many times this year, I might as well make him the star of his own story.
