chapter 6 of d*s starts next week 8D this chapter
cover features vix dressed up in that outfit i sometimes put her in but WHAT DOES IT MEAAAAAAAAN sointense.
this chapter is sort of named for the song yellow light, by remy zero:

you'll notice he actually says 'my bones is beginning to shake' but that doesn't exactly sound right for a chapter title 8D;;;
this has actually been done for months now but...it's tradition to post it the day i update d*s :'D so yeah.

So pretty *__* I love the stitched symbolism and such. I've been watching you for years now, and it seems lthat everytime you draw this outfit, I can see how much better you've gotten since you last drew it.
Your colouring style has gotten SO AMAZING. Can I ask - do you put your flats under your sketch and paint over the top of everything or do you do your line art and paint underneath?
Also, amazed at the way you colour skin, still 8O

Lol yeah you got it right on, for this style of painting
I do a really sloppy sketch, change it to black and paint
flats under it. I also tend to do some really sloppy shading
to those flats with a soft airbrush and then flatten the
canvas, then make a new layer and just start painting...
I usually use a flat brush on low opacity to paint, too.
xD I love the flat brush :< Also I end up tweaking things
a lot, and I find it easy in this style cos I can just screen-
cap, clip out the part I want to adjust, get that how I
want it [resized, moved over, distorted etc] and then
merge that with the freepainting layer. [you can't
do that when you have a solid lineart as easily!]

you can skim thru this old recording i did while working
on the chapter 5 cover. [i say skim cos it's 3 hours long
and i procrastinate A LOT during it LOL] I started working
on it like 7:30 in.
And LOL That outfit changes a little every time I draw it,
but I think I've finally settled on this version...

i fainted LOL. but i think it's cos she was still
new at it e_e;;; i will never allow a trainee to
stick me again LOL. to make matters worse, they
called later to tell me i needed to get it done
again cos they broke my tube lmao...it was awful.

Great Line art, it clashes nicley with the gradient of the skintones and clothes. The Luminosity in the background and buckles is amazing. And the folds of cloth is beautiful !
