Ok so wasn't happy with a few things on the last render so I rebuilt the fighter pods to better match the style and rebuilt the awful braces between the main hull sectionsRelated content

Very nice work, its a really good looking spacecraft design and should look quite striking when textured up and nicely lit.

Excellent design! A nice departure from the traditional astro-dynamic designs of ships like the Galactica, or the Rodger Young.
I am curious....the engine design in the back, would it also happen to be rotary, to help with artificial gravity on the ship? (That is a pretty popular concept in sci-fi ship design since 2010: The Year We Make Contact and Babylon 5.

Its based on my vague memories of an art style I saw in a short novel in my school library which despite my brief exposure it is a style which still resonates with me today.
as for the engines they are fixed position, they are 90 degrees to the model (and their original positioning) because I figured operating them in retrograde will start hitting the fighter bays so I rotated them to fix this.
Btw I am still looking for this illusive source of inspiration so if anyone can think of anything that it might be please let me know

The only other ship I saw during my search, was a dual cockpit Tie Fighter concept - or model, I don't remember which!
