The beautiful sunset over Hirtle's Beach, Nova Scotia. While at the cottage for a family shindig, me, my sis, and aunt, uncle, and cousin all went down and body-surfed in the waves. It was the first time I've been ocean swimming in years, and I cannot remember the last time I had so much fun. We were one of very few on the beach at that hour, and it was amazing.Not edited in any way, shape, or form.

Pffft, "too cold"?? No, it wasn't too cold at all!! It was brisk, and a bit of a shock when you first hit the waves, but once in, it was glorious! It's still quite warm over here (way too warm, in my opinion) so the ocean still has some warmth to it

I often forget that the Atlantic is so much warmer than the Pacific.

Actually, I believe it is the other way around. The Atlantic is generally colder than the Pacific. This is not, of course, written in stone, but it's more common to have the Atlantic cooler.
