More waterdrop photo's to come!
I took alot yesterday.

Sigma 70-300 F4-5,6 DG APO Macro

At first you may think, "Ah. Just another water droplet on flower show". However, if you spend a bit of time observing this well composed shot, you will be thinking the complete opposite.
The first thing that grasped my eye was the perspective of the flower which the water droplets rest upon. The partially focused petals conjured up an image of an old person’s hand; being thin, bony, and frail.
Another view I took on this photo is the resemblance to an eyelash. The water droplets could represent tears in this situation, which weigh down the lashes. Not tears of sorrow; tears of joy. This can be shown by the beautiful colours of the backdrop and the petals.
The depth of field is almost perfect in my opinion. However, I am sometimes drawn towards the out of focus large water droplet positioned towards centre of the photo when I can see the main point of focus is suppose to be the three droplets on the middle petal.
The brightness, contrast, and saturation are just right. If the contrast or saturation were increased any more, the photo would appear slightly on the surreal side.
Sharpness also appears correct. There are no sudden changes between mid-tones and highlights or shadows which is a result of too much sharpening.
There is no problem with noise either.
Overall, I think this is a well composed photo with minimal improvements to be made. It’s a pleasure to look at.
