Just another drawing from the fantastic book The hunger games by Suzanne Collins.Foxface was one of my faveourite caracters so I really wanted to draw her. This is from the scene where Foxface is spying on Peeta ( yeah...that little blondie in the backround there is supposed to be him..) while he's collecting those poisoned berries.
What do you think?

Yes, I'm finished with all of the three books, and I've also read the hunger games and catching fire twice while I'm in the middle of finishing mockingjay for the second time. Haha, I'm totally obsessed!
Me neither! I read it in less than two days. It's seriously one of the best books I've ever read. (exept for the Harry Potter- series, they're also amazing)
I think the movie will be fantastic, at least I hope so...but I still have my doubts...
I'm sure Josh hutcherson's gunna be a perfect Peeta. Jennifer Lawrence is probably a good Katniss too, even though she's a bit too old for the part ( acording to the book Katniss is supposed to look kind of young and stuff, but now she's like the same size as the Careers hmm... that's not how it's supposed to be, but with darker hair and a tan she kinda looks like the Katniss in my head soo...) Haha, I'm confused!
I'm not so happy about the rest of the cast though, but she girl who plays Rue is absolutely adorable, it's gunna be hard too see her die..
And I think the boy who's supposed to play Thresh also fits to how I imagined him.
But I hope the movie will be great, at least I cant wait!

Yeah, I'm a bit eh on Jennifer Lawrence too. I think she's 20 in real life and that kinda surprises me. But on the other hand, Suzanne Collins did pick her to play Katniss and she is also writing the script for the movie..but I won't like it until I see it
I'm kinda scared about the cast...especially Cinna....I imagined him white, not black, and I don't say that to be rascist or anything. I'm just kinda surprised they picked him..
Thresh looks ok. But Rue in real life is younger than the part she's gonna play so I'm a bit concerned about her.
I hope the movie won't be like Twilight where they mess everything up....I'm praying that they do a good job on this one!!!

Haha, I just couldn't help it. I had to re-read them. It was so hard to resist even though it wasn't long since I've read them for the first time.

If Jennifer Lawrence does a good job as Katniss I'm happy, if not, then what were they thinking? But since Suzanne Collins chose her herself, she's probably gunna be great (lets cross our fingers that she will.)
Yeah..how could they do a choice like that? I don't care if the guy who plays Cinna is black, but he looks so old...and he's got all those tattoes and stuff... I imagined him to look more... i dont know, gay maybe? Haha ( don't get me wrong or anything, I don't have ANYTHING against gays, but that's just what I thought of when I read in the book that a boy was Katniss' stylist...hmm.)
I think Rue looks very cute, but even though she's supposed to be twelve i'm kinda conserned that she's gunna look way too young compared to Katniss... after all, the age differense is not THAT big.
I really think Twillight was kinda messed up already (yes, i've read all the four books, but I can't say that I really liked any of them.)
But even if they do mess the movie up it's still the hunger games, haha.
But I will probably watch all of the movies anyway, even if they actually do suck.

The girl who plays Rue is actually younger then her part in the book, so the gap between Katniss and Rue may be really big. Not cool
The Twilight movie sucked...it was really cheesy and did not have a good script or good acting. That's why I'm so scared that they're going to do the same thing for the hunger games! But at least then we always have to good books to read
I will for sure watch all of the movies...I heard that they're making four of them haha splitting the last book into two. Interesting if you ask me...but all the more worthwhile

Not me either, I was really hoping that they would show some of the other tributes too, or at least give us a little glimse of Peeta. Instead, all be saw was basicly Katniss running in the woods. But I liked that they wiewed the firescene though (I loved that part in the book.) Luckily this was just a teaser,so lets just wait for the real trailer to come.

Yeah ... I don't really like twilight that much. I'm really scared about that too. What If they deside to make the hunger games as a big love drama, instead of the big fight to death it really is. I don't acctually want the hunger games to become the new Twilight or something. That would be awful!
I will probably do that too. I'm too big of a fan, just to let it go. I know, right? Four movies, hmm ... Wonder what that would be like ... But, that just means we get even more hunger games, so that's good!

The preview was not good at all, agreed. I think they could've showed more...it'll all come in good time, right? I'm really glad it was just a teaser, and the scene did look cool from what we saw, but it's still too early to say how the movie will turn out.
Rue is very cute in real life! It's going to be interesting to see their age difference in the movie, but I hope that they can pull it off ><
Oh my goodness, I hope so too!!! If they ruin the hunger games by focusing more on love than the actual plot, then I'm going to be super mad!!!

I know! I'm starting to get really scared that they're gonna make it all into a big lovestory or something. A LITTLE romance is fine, but anyway, it's not what the games is all about. I don't want it all to be a big drama between Katniss, Gale and Peeta... That will just be boring in the length. Give us blood and death instead! (haha, that just sounded really brutal.) What I actually mean is that I want them to follow the book, and don't make any huge, unnecessary changes.

I know, right? I did hear that the movie was 2 1/2 hours long which means that they would have been able to get everything in. That makes me happy. And from the people who have already seen it, they all said that it was true to the book. Still worried over it though haha

Yeah, I've heard that as well, so the movie will probably be very true to the book, which is good! Too bad they cut out the whole Avox part though. (at least that's what I've heard) But well... we can't have everything...
So, I quess I just have to wait till friday to see how the movie turned out. I'm actually looking really forward to it now. I think the movie will be fantastic! (at least I hope so..

I agree, they could've added that stuff in there. I was a tad bit upset that they didn't include the part where Katniss drugged Peeta to get the medicine for him. But all things considered, I think that they did an excellent job

Yeah I know, and the wolf mutts weren't at all like I had imagined them while reading the book. But still, it is a very good movie and we can't exept them to make it exactly like the book either, so I'm happy with the result, and I can't wait to watch it again!
