I got to be Peter Pan in a local musical, it was lots of fun!

Peter Pan is described in J. M. Barrie's book as wearing autumn leaves. In his book, he wears skeleton leaves and tree sap... I couldn't pull off the tree sap, but I could make autumn colored, translucent leaves!

I made the the tunic out of batik fabric and then glued a ton of organza leaves on that were cut out with pinking shears with veins drawn on them. The bright yellow leaves were painted with UV paint so that they would glow in a black light (so I could "fly"!)
