Description
The Qula mass production type was created by the Fleet of Zion after the success of the prototype. The machine improved many of the flaws of the prototype, downsizing the shoulder shields and giving it an improved engine. taking inspiration from their allies to rule the skies and hit their enemies fast and hard before breaking off and hitting them again. should it need to the Qula can land and engage enemy forces on the ground.
its armed with an artillery gun and Focus cannon. both of these are meant to be anti armor weapons' made to pen or dent the hulls of enemy ships.
dispite the cost of the machine the Fleet of Zion has chosen to continue production of the Qula and hopefully a cheaper successor unit but for now, The Qula is the pride of the fleet of Zion and the start of a technological revolution in their fleet based nation.

How is the machine operated? the prototypes were made for only memebers of the Fleet of Zion since they didn't need to worry about breathing and dealing with the G forces from the speed of the machine. the extreme early version of the machines cockpit required the none Zion's to remove their arms and legs and replace them with liquid metal limbs in order to integrate with the machines internals. the results were that the machine moved as if it were the body of the fleshy pilot. however this was rejected by the Admiral due to her deeming the process as "barbaric and unnecessary"
So in response the second cockpit model featured the frame work tech. an early type of Exo frame is placed around the pilot magical wire fibers line the Exo frame and into the the rest of the machine. this achieved the same results as the first of the cockpit though most pilots found the early Exo frame cockpit was that it was uncomfortable.

when it comes to the frame of the machine the fleet of Zion took more notes from their enemies as plans for later versions of the machine with runes to improve power consumption and making it harder to take down.
the armor plating is made from harden steel. two layers of it. though through Alchemy the master Alchemist of Zion found away to make the steel harder and stronger then normal. they have yet to share this though they believe their allies an enemies already know this secret.
Another feature of the Qula is its ability to hover over water this is due to it's engine which is a synthetic air crystal they created that resonates with the machines crystal engine. these Magical crystals are also synthetic but when they have the real thing the machines power output is far greater then the synthetic but the Synth is far cheaper and more affordable.
as stated it has become the main machine of the fleet stationed on specially made submarine carriers. these same carries are put into fleets of five.
each carrier holds three Qula and four regular flyers expect the flagship. the flagship holds five Qula and 5 regular flyers.
there are also attempts to build Airship carriers but those projects are currently stuck in development hell and haven't gone anywhere.
