Inspired from an article I read which was about a hoax about Disney making a film with a same-sex couple.

The premise of the story was two princes from two separate kingdoms who go out to rescue a princess, but in the end, they fall in love with each other, and at the end, they wed each other instead.

Shame it's a hoax, but I liked the idea of the story. Though, my only criticism is to have a prince and a knight instead. Because the one who rescues the princess is either a Prince Charming or a Knight in Shining Armour - why not both go and they fall in love instead to break all the stereotypical fairy-tale tropes? I do like the idea of the prince being younger and more new to the whole thing: hence determined to prove himself. While the knight is older and more experienced: though he's grown weary from doing his typical thing of slaying monsters and rescuing people.
