This is my entry that I did for the Chiustream interview with Francis Manapul, DC comic Book artist [link] .Oh, by the way I won an original sketch by him! I had fun coming up with the concept more than anything. I didnt just want to choose an animal and slap a cape on it.

the only thing that gets me is the way his tail is gripping the bow, doesn't look like there is enough force in the bow to be able to make the boy taunt. but then again, if you made the tail straight it might look like a wang... >_>

LOL, Thank you! you're right, this is not anatomically possible for either the eagle or monkey in real life. Maybe both feet should've been operating the bow

i think it would make more sence to have the tail hold the arow....
i dont think the tail has that much arorisy nore stranth to hold the bow.... :/
