Description EDIT: Just revisiting this Incredibly old pic cos I still like ti and its been on my sister's wall for a while.

You have no idea how proud I am of this pic.

You can tell if Im proud of a pic if I play around with my usual titleing system

These are Rainbow Lorrikeets, a fairly common bird found almost all around Australia. These three were found in Queensland.

I cheated a bit cos they were feeding from a tray of bird mush, but they are totally wild birds, and damn if Ill get any closer than this to these birds.

I would probably be justified placing thios into the photo manipulation section, as I have changed quite a bit.

Just a shame the 2 on the right are blurred slightly, perhaps I should manipulate them out of the image, and leave the cute in focus one there, what do you think?

What a beautiful photo. I think all three of them look great even if it is slightly blurred.

They're beautiful! I wish I could get that close to birds, aside from pet stores. Very nice!

I think they felt safe in numbers, there were literally 100s of the beggars fluttering all about the place.

Yah I was about to say that I always like the titles you come up with for your photos and whatnot.

These birds are SO pretty!! Wow! We don't have anything like that over here. Or do we? Hrm... dunno.

Anyway... the colors are absolutely amazing here. Just curious... any reason why they're these particular colors or is it just because?

I only see the one on the far right as being just a tad blurry, but it's not all that bad. I think it looks fine and actually adds to the picture. So... me like!

Im glad somebody took notice of the effort I put into titleing

Was going to be Cherob, but they dont really look like cherobs do they? so Cheop was like 'cheep' as in a bird, and bobs yer uncle

Reason why they are coloured? hmmm not that I know of, just to be pretty? Perhaps its because of their diet, they are parrots, but unlike other parrots which eat seeds, these guys eat fruits and nectar. They have also been called the clowns of the parrot family so maybe thats why?

Thanks

Heheh, well, very interesting ideas on why they are the color that they are. *takes it all down in thought* I see, I see.

Well, quite interesting to know then. Good day! *bows*

Very nice capture, birds are always tricky. I think the one that is furthest to the right does look out of place, but the middle one looks fine and is sharp enough to have it's place in the image. The apple-type-thing in the bottom right also IMO does distract from the rest. The colors are great, and the bird that the focus is primarily on has lots of detail.
