Thank you. They seem to have a lot of nice stuff. I might end up getting more then just this one pattern!

Oh that it is! And even looking in the cross stitch magazines! They all advertise patterns from other places you can order. I have a pattern marker program too on my pc that helps to save some $$$. I like it that I can take any of my own pics and make a pattern out of them.

I tend not to look now... hubby worked it out that i'm going to need at least another 25+yrs to do all the one's i've already got & that's just the kit's

A good idea those programes though i find them a little tiring to do as there are so many colours

I kind of like the ones with more detail and color. Yeah they take me FOREVER to finish...been working on a unicorn one now for over a yr...I put it down when I get bored with it, go to another simpler project, finish that one and then go back to the unicorn. But it's something I have that if I don't have any smaller/simpler ones and I wanna cross stitch, it's there. I figure it's gonna take me another yr or so to finish at this rate but that's ok. I do wanna make one of my tortoise one day tho. I have been trying to do a cross stitch now for every season/holiday. I am currently working on a spring/summer time one. It too has a lot of detail and is pretty big. It's this kit here: [link] . I am almost done with it. Took me a little longer then normal, just over 2 months b/c I haven't been feeling well. But I have one more color and then the back-stitching to do. Then it's finding a nice frame for it.

That's usually what i do.. it's good to break the routine. I admire your patience... i get too eagar, though i do have one that took me 4yrs to complete
That's a lovely kit, very virbant
I've found, finding the frame can be the hardest of all

Oh yeah especially with odd shaped pieces like this one. Tho I was in AC Moore crafts a few weeks ago and they had a long frame I think this would fit in for sale. Wasn't that expensive either. But if I have to make a frame (I am learning to make my own frames now too to house my cross stitches...it's more cost effective) or spend the $$$ to have someone else make one I will. I have a cool Halloween one I made last yr that I don't know if I wanna frame yet or try to make into a pillow....that's another project in itself!

I've always framed them myself... too overpriced i find, except for one that really needed a frame in a frame (pre box pic's). Too actually make the frames though i can do anything with a saw but mitre
I wish you luck with that one

Thank you. My husband is really good at building stuff and I have a few books on making frames and other neat craft things for the home.
