it's a little bit of a read, here you go ;v;
Their species name is "Smokies", they have the ability to make their body dissolve into deadly poison gas. Even their "tails" and "ears" is poison gas, it's best not to breathe it in. Smokies are immune to other Smokies' poison gas. They often have bells strap to them, in case they're in trouble, they ring their bells as a cry for help for the other Smokies, the bells they use are only heard by Smokies' ears only, no one else can hear their bells ring. Depending how many bells they have on, it shoes how dependent Smokies are to others, the less bells they have, the more independent they are.
Smokies are often misunderstood due to their poison gas ability, so they are often targeted by hunters who want to wipe out their species, but they manage to elude them by hiding their "ears" and "tails" by wearing hats and stuffing in the gas in their pants. They usually live in quiet and remote areas to avoid conflict with other species and humans, the independent ones live in cities and whatnot. Not all Smokies are nice and peaceful though, a good amount of them like to prove themselves "strong" by killing other species and humans to make their species look superior, it's mostly the independent ones who do this, and it's what gives the Smokies a really bad name.
They're very good at hiding, but they are all naturally very bad with directions, so they are often lost. Most of the time the bells are used because of that reason.
Smokies come in different colours in their gas, but they all have the same effect.
