This is one of numerous pictures I'll be uploading from my recent excursion with the Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 EX lens.I do love snowy owls, magnificent creatures to be sure. Especially the eyes, such incredible contrast.
Shot at the Calgary Zoo.

Nice composition. Beautiful bird. White seems a bit overexposed. I wish I could see more detail in the fine white feathers on the bird's face.

Yeah that was just the lens I was using, it seems to kill the detail in the extremes, or maybe it was just my 20D, in any case, I can't do anything about it now.
