Well, it's not so hard. First of all you need to wait till it gets dark out there, or you should be in a garage
Than you must find a place where you can put your camera in the car, aiming to the rev-o-meter It has to be fix, otherwise you will not get a sharp pic.
Finally you must set a long exposure time so when you'll be rewing the stick (or how on earth that is called) will have time to move and the movement will be captured on your pic.

Hi again!

I tried today to take the pic, I did as you told me to but my rev counter needle gets too blurry to see , how did you manage so yours didn't get blurry?

Well, it depends on how wide spread the rev counter moves, ex. between 1000rpm and 2000 or from 1000 to 4000...it does make a difference, also the shutter speed you are using. Try at different shutter speeds.

And make sure that your cam is hold still while taking the pic, because otherwise everything will be blurry
