A poison witch that dwells within a house deep within the wilds and far from any form of civilization, as a young witch she was ridiculed for her expertise and talent for only poisons, being unable to even form cures for the ones she is able to make, being unsuccessful in even making antidotes for already curable ailments and toxins; fed up with such treatment, she left the academy to live alone where ingredients could be plentiful, occasionally selling her wares to hunters that know of and are brave enough to seek her out or too unknowledgeable to know of the infamy that surrounds her as "the poison witch of the woods", this reputation having developed as a result of her secluded nature and the use of her poisons being rumored to be used for murder; such rumors of her being a haggish, cruel, and evil old woman of monstrous appearance have of course greatly skewed her ability to be recognized as the "young little foolish failure" she was seen as when she left the academy, allowing her to often go unnoticed and left alone if she is ever to go to a settlement for supplies or otherwise, no one being able to know it's her unless a hunter (who often keep their mouths shut or are not believed either way) or one of her former classmates; this treatment by the world at large has made her somewhat bitter, if not annoyed by it, preferring to remain in the secluded forests than return to her past live among others; she has also learned to live from the land, a better solution than constantly going to the nearest settlement for supplies; though she is adept at poisons, almost being her utmost life and passion which she holds with much interest and knowledge (even bragging about them at times), she still actually has some very minor magical powers that are typical of most magicians, such as basic levitation, illusions, etc; though she claims to love her solitude and indeed moved to the woodlands to stay away from others, it is likely also more the judgement from others that she truly wishes to avoid, as she does show signs of being lonely and longing to be around culture from time to time, of which is shown when she goes to the city with Collin and the leapers, being fascinated with its many sights and sounds, and acting almost as if a little girl; however, in for many years now, her seclusion was broken when a family from a small village pleaded with her to find a cure for their ailing son, who was infected by the "Plague of beasts", it being known to take years to develop until the host finally transformed and lied waste against unsuspecting innocents as a bloodthirsty monster, the only cure known being execution; not wanting the boy to be killed, as she knew no cure existed and she herself could never create one, nor wanting the boy to wreak havoc upon hundreds if he were to transform, Viveld chose to fake his death, showing his family the corpse of the 'would be' transformed son; in turn, the boy ( who in truth was not much younger than Viveld herself at the time) has been able to live in peace with Viveld, her teaching him much of what she knows and the two growing very attached to one another; however, given Collin's increasing symptoms, Viveld has been incredibly stressed with either finding a cure some how or having to come to terms with killing him once he transforms; thusly, having seen her plight, she was confronted by the leapers to try and find a cure before Collin's time runs out
