sometimes we just need to reach out

It's been a while since I made something that means a lot to myself. My hope is that it speaks out or gives some sense of healing to others as much as it does to me, regardless of how differently one may interpret it.

This is gorgeous. I feel that sense of healing you spoke of in the description. Like hope hasn't completely slipped through my fingers, I can still reach out and grab onto, it might just take a little effort and some time on my part.

to me it sorta means after you've been stuck in the darkness for a long time with no hope, when we see hope we will reach out to out and it brings us into the light. Beautiful picture

This is a beautiful, eloquent and powerfully simple image. Caught between the freedom of the open sky and the crushing solitude of deep water, your protagonist reaches out, her body opens, and she's so close to being free. Your detailing on background is wonderful with beautiful spectruming on the deep water effects and some really good effects on the golden cloud. Where this really shines is in the detail you've put into the protagonist for a very human piece of work. She's beautifully rendered, with exquisite texturing on her clothes and very delicate, skillful touches in the face, and hands and feet. Kudos for the precision you've put into the beautiful art she carries with her as she reaches out. This is really great work! Thank you for sharing it with us
