Rook Ashfire is a member of “Pandora Heart” and the team leader of “Team Rook.” He tends to travel places to places, along with his best friend/partner: “Stitch”, to train himself to become stronger than anyone. He’s not the sharpest tool in the shed in static/strategy, Ill-mannered, carefree and reckless in nature, and, despite his consistent brawls with the other members of Pandora Heart, he is a fiercely loyal and protective friend. He is willing to go down fighting for his friends, regardless of how futile it might seem. His hobby is being a cook using his fire magic, quite the wiz at it and collecting treasure of certain artifacts. His solution to problems often involve violence. Even when disrespected or faced with obvious hostility, Rook rarely ever reciprocates the feelings, and often forgoes grudge-holding. Especially, when it comes to his constant fighting with Chronos, Rias, and any other member of the guildhall. His magic power is called “Fire Devil Slayer”, which allows him to cast and manipulate the elemental essence of fire to slay demons. Others call it “Satan Fire” of how abnormal his Fire is; that he can burn or don’t burn any living and non-living by will while leaving traces of burn marks of the shape of hand prints and foot prints of a Devil-like shape. During of his battle from his opponents or rivalries, he has condition where animals naturally grin or show their teeth when nervous, stressed, angered or uncomfortable. He leave a grin or smile showing it, some people called his expressions; “The Devil Smile at ya.” He replenished his strength by consuming flames and boosting his power exceptionally. To some degree, it appears that Devil Slayers have the ability to resist the effects of Curses (or at least the "Ultimate Curse"). It has also been suggested that Devil Slayer Magic is a very fickle Magic, and that learning it too quickly and making use of its properties in rapid succession have had adverse effects on Rook, causing him to become afflicted with black markings that have thus far spread across half of his body on two occasions Nevertheless, Rook himself said that with some help of his Sensei, was able to gain control over it. He can boost his power and strength by going into "Devil Force", a type of Lost Magic which allows its users to transform their physical bodies into a Devil/Demon. As a result, the user can transform their body with features of their respective element, utilizing both offensive and defensive styles.
