Haymitch and Maysilee during the Quarter quell!
They didn't actually kiss, at least it's not mentioned in catching fire, but I like to think that. I bet Haymitch doesn't like Peeta because he reminds himt so much of his fallen lover, Maysilee.

I think Haymitch DID have a girlfriend back home (told Katniss that "[his] girl" was killed by the Capitol about two weeks after he won his game), but he respected Maysilee for her skills and wits, and maybe even liked her, as far as it was possible.
His prospect of returning home and resuming his relationship were slim at best, so why not give in to a moment like this in the arena.
I think it's realistic and loved the chemistry between them

Well, Haymitch DID say the girl he loved was taken from him because of the Capital, so it would make sense for it to Maysilee, who died in the Games. I absolutely so this!!! Wish they'd have ended up together in the book!

I bet Haymitch tried to let there be two victors (Katniss and Peeta) because he wished for that to happen with Him and Maysilee. Poor Haymitch. Maysilee was probably the only girl he loved...

I've always thought this couple would be AMAZING!
I kind of had a theory that Haymitch wanted to have like a serious relationship with her during the games, but thought it would be to their disadvamtage until he thought about it during all thsoe years inbetween and decided that it would be to Katniss and Peet'as advantage! The thing about him not liking Peeta could also be true...who knows! xD

I believe they kissed! >D *Persistent* These two seriously needed some incredibly awesome cute moments. I like this a lot, primarily because of the way you portrayed these two. I love that they are all battered up from that awfully wicked arena (when I read the description, I was thinking, no wonder why the guy had to turn to alcohol). I also adore your coloring and the textures you used, they just add to the severity of the situations these two were put through. T_T Great work!
