The symbol does not means Peace
It symbolizes " SHIVA " ,Indian god of destruction,but in a broader sense" reconstruction".
This Symbol is worshiped by Hindus and i myself being a Hindu have drawn it in many forms like wedge , icon ,etc.(will soon upload them )
the Philosophy related to this symbol comprises a book called "shiv-purana " written in vedic age of India in Sanskrit knowledge.Very few people actually have the guts to understand the complete sense of it.
anyways, am Happy to know that you people have misunderstood it as the symbol of piece
because peace is what ultimately every religion preaches .
