Yeah, but it can give your computer FUCKIN' VIRISIS (god I suck at spelling). It's don't it to me before I even dl'd anything. Also, not everyone's parents allow them to do that kind of stuff. JZip doesn't have viruses, it's free, and completely and utterly legitimate. But if you're afraid of viruses, run a scan of your system with your security program once you finish the download of the program and install it. I've never had an issue with viruses and JZip, because I've downloaded the from their actual site (click the words "actual site," and it'll take you to the JZip site).
Not every free program out there is loaded with a virus that'll make your computer stop working, and computer security programs (even the one that comes with Windows, "Microsoft Security Essentials") are pretty well able to catch the viruses, and either quarantine them or delete them.
Hell, MalwareBytes Anti-Malware does a damn good job too, and you can use it for free (if you don't want the real-time thing which lags your computer anyways) and can catch a few things that Microsoft Security Essentials can't, like the "Windows Removal Tool" malware, or any other for that fact.
Please, do some reasearch and use some logic before complaining about the possibility of viruses and such.

Well, Windows users have to worry abut viruses much more than Mac users, so there's much less of a threat there. And jZip does work on Mac as well, I believe; it doesn't say which one it is, and usually it'll say which one it works on, if it's one or the other. It'll extract almost any kind of file type, and according to the site, it's actually based off of 7Zip.

Well, it's not just OS, it's also computer age, os x ect. Most software made for Macs will only work on the 64 bit ones, and I'm on one from 1998, so NOTHING works. Seriously, I tried to run Utau-synth (Mac version of UTAU) on it when our pc broke a month ago and wouldn't even open.
