Description
So, I started taking an intro art therapy class at a local community college (just to see if art therapy is the field that I truly want to go in to). Anyway, we had a class project which was to create a mandala piece using sand and pebbles. I fell in love instantly with sand art. I'm not all to great at mandala art but I just wanted to explore my options with sand. So I drew an image of a flower with a sharpie and filled in the blank spaces with sand (I used glue to make the sand stick to the canvas).

materials: fish sand (mixed with food dye), pencil, sharpie, mod podge glue, canvas
