So, after college I didn't have enough money to buy oil paints, so I had to get creative with the materials that I had....Thus, I started using crayons as my main medium and substitute for oil paints.
This is my portrait experiment using melted crayons and I have to say, the texture is quite amazing. Plus, crayons are soooo much cheaper than oil paints and dries 10x faster than paint. They also resemble oil paints...depending on how you smear the crayon.
