Hellsing Halloweenies once again! This year I did fairy tales.

Walter is the last brother from ‘The Seven Crows’. They were the seven brothers who were turned into crows and their sister had to make them nettle shirts to turn them back and she didn’t have time to finish so the last brother ended up with one raven wing. Some versions had swans. The one I heard first was crows, though, so that’s what I went with.

Seras is Scraggletag from ‘Sapsorrow‘. She has a cloak with every kind of fur over a dress as golden as the sun.

Alucard is the Big Bad Wolf, the incarnation of the fear of being messily devoured. That’s from “Little Red Riding Hood’. Or ‘Three Little Pigs’. Or ‘Seven Little Kids’. Or many others.

Integra is Vasilisa from ’Vasilisa the Beautiful‘. There were some parallels. When Integra’s father died, he left her an undead protector that had to be fed and an uncle that wanted her dead. When Vasilisa’s mother died, she left her a doll that became her protector when it was fed and a stepmother that wanted her dead. Any resemblance of the doll to Girlycard was intentional.

And Pip is Jack the Giant Killer from ‘Jack and the Beanstalk‘. AKA a thief and a rogue with an axe.
