Holy balls. I never could get into Naruto, it seems. The manga didn't capture my attention (though, to be fair, I did only read bits-and-pieces here and there in the book-store, on occassion), and while I thought it was good animated, it wasn't addicting good. Not even when they put it on Cartoon Network, so I could finally start watching from the beginning, did it really draw me in.Then ~dx2 loaned me fansubs of episodes 1 to 75, and I watched it all in one weekend. Considering that I now have up to episode 150 on my harddrive, interpret that as you will.
And part o' it is this guy - all of the kids especially shine, but this dude is damn entertaining and, in a way, inspiring. So here's to you, Rock Lee. (Plus, he's got fuzzy freakin' eyebrows. I draw 'em big ordinarily, so to just go effin' crazy wit' 'em? Heck yeahz!

I am sure I can't say anything that hasn't already been said, especially cause this deviantion is like a year old....but this is damned AWESOME. Rock Lee is my favorite character so this makes me a very happy camper. Your style makes it very much awesome as well

YES! I agree! I didn't care for "Naruto" that much at first either, but after I saw Lee, I was in love. Rock Lee is my MAN! I think he's hawt!

Rock Lee put's a hurtin on just bout everyone. That's why i think he's top dog. Great pic of bushy brow that you did. Personally the best thing i think about Rock Lee (besides the jujitsu) is his awesome name. I mean, compare his to the other ninjas.

Rock Lee is my hero, too! He truely is one of the few characters in that show that feels origional. Plus, I love that fact that he's a handicap ninja! No need for fruity mind-games or parlor tricks; just go friggin Lotus-loco on em, hellz yeah!

Heh, that was like me when I first heard about Naruto. I didn't really like it that much and I always thought it wasn't that good compaired to other anime/manga stuff that I read and watched. But after getting the first volumes and such, I really got into it. Heh, it's funny how these things work you know?
Lee scared me at the first time around.. but after you got to know him and little bit, he really gets attached to you. He's quite a hard working person and everything. I mean, he can only do one type of jistu.. and he works his way up and all. I still have to read 11+ volumes.. so I don't know much.
But still, Rock Lee is quite an interesting character no doubt about that. I love you drew him here and all. The position here is done very well and I really like how well you did the colorings and all. I like how you did the textures here adn there on him and on the other objects like that rocks.

Heh, that's basically what happened to me too. People were always talking about Naruto on various Anime messageboards and I figured I'd take a look but I never really cared, and then it came to North America and I started watching and decided I wanted to spoil some stuff around when they were fighting Haku on the bridge and I got completely addicted and continued reading the manga, and then I started downloading episodes and got my brother hooked to the anime.
