Prooobably my favorite piece from this semester. We were given a list of quotes in which we were to illustrate one without actually taking the quote straight from the context of which it was taken. In the end I chose, ”Why is it so hard to be like the rest of the flock, Jon?” Whiiiccch is from Jonathan Livingston Seagull.All in all this took me foorrevverr to finish but worth it. Let’s see how long that lasts…

Such INSANELY beautiful nighttime lighting, my gosh! And augh, just, those birds--the contrast between painted and flat-colors works incredibly well here, and I just, gosh, I can't get over the super-subtle hint of blue to the colorscheme. Phenomenal work, as always.
