Lovely photo, great composition and a nice vinatege feel to it. I didn't notice the mother at first so it's lucky your title drew me to it - very nice moment
I agree with Xedias though, that thing in the corner does ruin the photo a bit. It's so easy to get things interfering with your photo like that - I know I have that problem all the time, even if I'm aware of unwanted objects.
Rather than cropping you could try stamping/cloning the cloud to cover it up? It's difficult to do well but It's such a small item, I'm sure no one would notice, even if you did a bad job of it

oh yeah it worked, i tried the cloning thing. had to look in youtube first to find out how to do it though.
