Ta-da! A concept for a Kotogen design i got last night, that didn't turn out quite the way i imagined it. and yet i still spent way too long on this ;-;

Kotogen are aliens, that came to Earth, and took a liking to human culture, fortunately. otherwise, they might have killed us all XD They are made of a goop-like mass, which they can change to some extent. But, their mass is constant, so if they, for example, wanna have longer hair, they're gonna have to give up some of their height.

This is a closed species made by TeleportingLesbian , but if you wanna make your own, there's an open MYO event going on right now!

Also, i think i kinda went overboard with the dripping and melting, so it kinda looks yucky. All the "dripping" details took up way too much space, so you can't see all the details in the skin. ;-; i didn't wanna just remove them though, they look too cool You can see it a lot better in that smaller sketch to the right.

Story:

When Arisho came to Earth, she fell in love with a human. But, he is honestly a douche. Because, he only likes tall chicks with long hair. Arisho doesn't have enough mass to have both, so she tries to find other ways to compensate for her "faults". (wearing high heels, or long wigs) The douche only wants chicks who are "all natural", so he brushes her off. Yeah, it's a pretty shitty story, and very shallow, but it's just the first draft. I'm sure i'll think of something better.

Fun facts i came up with while drawing this:

*The reason Arisho has elf ears, is because she saw them first when she came to Earth. Later, she found out what normal human ears look like, but never bothered to change her's. plus, she thinks they look a lot cooler than regular ol' ears

(this also kinda reflects the fact that i've struggled with drawing normal-looking ears for sooo long ;w; )

*When Arisho was young, she tripped and fell on her right hand the eye hand. It turned grey after a while, and she couldn't see with it anymore. Still, she uses it to scare people she dislikes, by deliberately waving at them with her right hand.it really freaks them out

*She hides the eye on her forehead because it doesn't have a use. like the dead hand-eye It makes her feel out of place in a crowd of people. All she wants is to fit in as much as possible.but without loosing her identity, that's why she keeps the elf ears

She's been thinking about going to an eye-removal surgery, but she's too afraid.
