Oooh... I love red-tails. I plan on starting with a red-tail when I start my falconry apprentiship.
I like how the highlight on his head seems to glow, making him look angelic.

I am glad you picked up on that, but if anyone could it would be you. From that angle I noticed how the sun was illuminating him and I was really eager to get the shot. Fortunately, I did. No touch-ups in photoshop were needed - he is naturally awesome.
