I wanted to do an experiment with transparency and light vs. dark. The first try is interesting, but not polished. It will take more effort and practice for the technique to really bear fruits.Related content

Golly this is soooo old. I think the background was watercolor and the figure was acrylic. Possibly acrylic ink.

I love this painting! I actually had it on my bedroom wall for the past few years but could never remember which artist had done it and I found you! yay. I think I had forgotten to favourite it, that's probably why. :/

*gasp!* okay so i randomly found this pic somewhere outside of dA about a year or so ago and saved it to my computer cuz i loved it. but then my computer crashed so i lost and forgot about it after awhile. so i just now randomly found you and then saw this pic and was like "NOOOO WAAAAAY!"

So beautiful. It's so ghostly and misty. It coudl be a spirit or simply dragon magic, the effects are beautiful. don't know if the dragon looks very friendly though.

The way the blue stands out so vibrantly is quite impressive. Did you work with watercolours for this one?
Perhaps it's just the cool colour scheme and the grey skies, but looking at this picture gives the impression of a very chilly location.
Quite interesting; if you do more in this style I'd love to see how you progress with the development of more sharply-defined form.

This is so beautiful picture, I really love it. I's so content, serene but still has some fierce in it. Very beautiful. I've always thought that you're an awesome painter, your skills are wonderful.
I really like how you've used the colours, they seem to fit perfectly together and they create misty feeling. The dragon itself looks lovely, esperially it's legs are nice. I like its gaze very much too. Yu've really succeeded well in creating half-invisible, disappearing feeling on this pic. Fantastic!
