Description I would say that this is my first significant conceptual work that started life in my head, and culminated in what you see here, and I have to say I'm quite pleased with it.

My inspiration for this piece came very much from the militaristic sculptures and art so beloved by totalitarian regimes, which often and commonly feature motifs of fists and weapons.

Thanks Stuart, appreciated as always! Ah, yes you’re right, the bullet belt does indeed appear to resemble armour, I hadn’t considered that! It’s good to have picked up the camera again after the washout that was 2011, let’s hope I can keep the momentum up this year.
