Okay, do you want me to take it down, I didn't mean to offend you. You do not have right to call me stupid, just because you're more known than me doesn't mean my level of intelligence isn't as high as yours. You should be flattered by my homage to your work, the sincerest compliment is imitation.
I'm sorry for offending you again, I hope this doesn't keep me from becoming friends with you.

I did not offend you too, but come on.. how you react if someone try to make something equal of one work from you? Sorry for being rude, I don't mean too.

Your appology's accepted. To answer your question about how I would feel: I would feel a little upset at first, that's a given, but I would also be proud that someone liked my art enough to make an homage to it. At least as long as they weren't blatantly copying without giving consent to the orignal artist.

I stated that I was heavily inspired by their style, so let's call this an homage to them. I am in love with their style, although after this piece and a few practice pieces I've kept mostly private I still have a much different style than them.
Thanks for replying though.

It's very cool but very smooth and organic compaired to your other work... not as wicked or tribal... any reason for the shift in style or just wanted to try something else?
Love the colors though...

My reason for changing? Well, I've been watching many other talented artists and observing how people react to their work. I figured, hey if it works for them, why not combine it with my technique and create a happy medium. I think I did just that, but I'm not sure. All of this has created my current 2D style. I will continue to improve my 3D area by trial and error. In case you were talking about the up front 3D in this piece, that was done by ~SulfurikAcid , not me.

This I know. Sometimes I just like to experiment and if I like the experimentation, I go with it... This time, I studied some other artists that have really inspired me to change/experiment with my style. Thus resulting in my new style. I may sway back and forth between styles depending on my mood at times, but it's all reflecting on my feelings at the time. Like you said "art is self expression," I know this, and am expressing my feelngs through different methods of experimentation.
If that did not make sense, please forgive me, I've just woken up and am sick again...

Nice job you two. I love it. I will surely be looking forward to the day where Hidden Flaw post a tutorial on 2D brush creation.
