Pardon me for my inactivity, I am rather busy and I'm spending the drawing time i have on learning anatomy..

Anyway, here's a thumbnail I made a few months ago.

It may seem basic, but I have learned an important lesson from it. That lesson is an old one: less is more!
By not over-using contrast I think it creates a nice balance. As opposed to making the foregrounds pure black and the backgrounds intensely white, therefore creating too much.. tension.
