Bit moody as of late and kinda binged a bit much on Gundam 00 and anybody who's seen it knows how emo that show getsSo got inspired to do something emotive.
Decided to go back to Open Canvas again to
sketch and shade this piece.

oh... I was not thinking of a particular poem... it makes me think of a classical type of poem. ^_^
But I think some can fit. Hey... I have an idea... Have you ever heard of the classic "A Dream of Red Mansions"? Our ็บขๆฅผๆขฆ.
In it, there is a set of 12 poems, very sad, all about the lives of the female characters in the story.
Maybe, if you found the poems, you can draw the muscular girls version of them hahaha...

Just read a wiki page on it. Sounds very interesting.
All the girls personalities and descriptions are quite well fleshed out. The author really prided himself on creating nuanced and varied female characters and some with strong personalities

Still the descriptions and personalities shown are already enough for me to form an idea of there beauty and expressions...
even Jia Baoyu seems fascinating
I really have to find a copy of these poems and find the time to read them. Might bring more inspiration.

mmmmhh...still 12 is alot and there is a level of ability im still working on...how bout this for now ill start small see if I cant get 1 or 2 outta my spare time. And as an appreciation for this nice little token...which one of the 12 draws your interest

People say that to me alot XD
but I'm sure you'll understand being a fbb or a physique artist in your own right that getting from where you were before to here, required dedication, focus and pushing your limits. To both be able to look back at your accomplishments and to shape yourself into the ideal form. Looking back i can see how setting personal standards that are never "just enough" is what got me here and i look forward to setting the bar and cresting that next hill.
As for your pick, it seems that we are in agreement. Ill have to sit around and imagine her in my mind for a bit.I've been playing with the "warrior" type lately, its fun X3
Ah and its nice that you read these as a child, was probably a wonderful to experience things at that age.

I agree thats the important thing. There's a flow to life, goes up and goes down. So best to not let regrets build up.

There's a line beteween 'emo' and genuine emotion, this piece is firmly on the 'genuine' side. So expressive, and yet so incredibly subtle too.
