Crona has been one of my favorite characters since first seeing the anime years ago.
I really don't care about gender; the theories behind either or are rather interesting, so I generally let it go.
However, when it comes to writing and using 'genderless' gets too hard it depends what I'm referencing to.
When it comes to the anime, that Crona I've gotten used to as being called 'he' due to the anime (where the english dub did an impressive job of) but the manga Crona really is more feminine and I've seen those who've read the manga usually refer to them as a 'she'.

The manga Crona really has gotten my attention though; especially in roleplays with other people.
Crazy people are so much fun to do. They have an interesting inbalance. Either way... the fandom has treated Crona as their baby for the most part; the amount of empathy for them is strong and caring.

The one thing that has me worried right now is the amount of death.
Lord Death, the danger Maka was put in; and while these things are new and important I can't help but wonder how Crona is going to get past this.

She was over-written and absorbed by Asura after trying to eat his soul, but there was a panel of recognition that may prove a hint that she'll be able to regain control of herself... I know she's lost her mind, and she's really consumed by madness... There's still a part of me that hopes she might be saved.
