Haha thank you! I am so glad you like his hair! It was tough getting the shading and color right. I still feel like the color is off though.Β

Thank you :3
I really love the shading you do! With hair I usually try to pick three different colors and blend them together to get that look.
Oh good, I've been worried about the color.

You're very welcome!!
Ahhh Thanks! I still have lots to learn! Wow three colors? Do you like find the color you like then a lighter and darker one? Finding the right colors to pair with the main color. When you blend, do you use a special tool?

you're welcome!
Yeah, it's a lot of work to color lol! For Hinata's hair I use a brown, mahogany, and then a red. I do the roots brown and her hair under her neck. Then I put Mahogany over the brown and over the tips of the hair. Then I put red over all of the hair to create the highlights and blend all the colors together.
Then for Riku I use; Gray, Slate, and Light Blue.Β
The lightest one is usually the actual color of the hair but I always put it on last.
I don't use a special tool when blending, the trick for me is to make sure when I put on a new color for the hair I always go over the colors that are already there. That really helps blend them together.
I hope that made sense lol

Ohhhh ok! thanks I'm definitely gonna have to try this out! (whenever I manage to finish a drawing haha) So you start with the lightest color first? (Sorry just trying to make sure I do it right haha)
Ok cause I bought a blending tool a while back but I never understood how it worked...
It did! thank you so much for your advice!!^-^

You're very welcome! I hope it helps. Let me know how it goes or if you have any more questions.
Haha, I'm sure they have more uses, that is just what I use them with.

Oh thank you so much! I do have some prismacolors but not as many colors as I would need to draw something like this.Β
Let's see.... I think this one took about 6 hours to finish
