Views on the Herds and Religious Believes:Disclaimer: Those are Aloe's and her family's believes on the herds and their gods! So it's possible that not everything is correct. Please keep that in mind!
Due to her grandparents and her parents being renegades for so long, they have collected a decent amount of knowledge about all the herds of TWI and their gods. The family's views are unique to them alone. Aloe adapted them to her own believes. The family believes that ALL gods exist together but they have put their attention to different herds.
Oakfern:
This is Aloe's origin herd or at least of her bloodline. She does only know as much as her grandparents have told her about the herd. Aloe dislikes the sacrifices of young fawns to the goddess.
Gaelach is still Aloe's main patron due to her water magic. The moon is a holy symbol to her and she will pray every full moon to the goddess and brings her a small gift (NO sacrifice!). Aloe also hopes to find an owl companion so Gaelach can always be at her side.
Blackwood:
The dark woods are a dangerous place where no family member has even put a hoof in. But a few encounters with Blackwood renegades have taught them that Blackwood is not as bad as it seems. Aloe has a decent understanding of what's going on their. The dark giants honor strength and loyalty and if you can proof yourself to them, they will honor you. Aloe also knows about the different kinds of magic they possess and some of them scare her.
Ùir is a strong and powerful goddess. Aloe prays to her for strength and justice and hopes that the Mother of the Woods will be merciful with her.
Glenmore:
A land full of food and almost no predators. Aloe's family had stayed many years in the kingdom hiding from all those guards. The hierarchy the Glenmorians follow is too complex for Aloe. Royals, Commoners, for Aloe everyone is the same since everyone has the same origin, the gods. Also if Earrann is the father of the king's line and Áillte the dam of the princess line, shouldn't all Glenmores be royal?
Óganach is the King in the Sky but Aloe doesn't know much about him. Only that he has two children, Earrann and Áillte.
Earrann , a demi-god, is the beginning of earth magic.
Áillte, a demi-goddess, is the beginning of light magic. She is also the patron of lovers so Aloe prays to her that some day she will find true love.
Windborne:
Aloe does not know much about the fawnlings on the other island. But she would love to travel there one day. But she knows about the civil war and how divided the herd is. But rumors has it that some nomad groups are very friendly even to outsiders.
Molach is a mystery. But he is the god of the wind and if a storm is coming it's always good to say a few words to maybe calm it.
Silverthorne:
The herd of the many gods. A fierce and firey herd which should be approached with caution. The fire nation to the south has one of the bets military systems, strong soldiers and always a flame in their hearts.
Adhar, the Sky God, watcher of heaven. Aloe believes that he will welcome her if the times is right and will guide her wherever she will go in her next life.
Grian, Sun Goddess, the sun that brightens the day. She brings light and warmth to everything on the Western Isles.
Luan, Moon Goddess, illuminates the sky at night. Aloe assumes that Luan and Gaelach could be the same goddess just with different names. Which would prove her idea that all the gods are connected.
Miur , the Sea God, a moody creature. He is powerful and can be dangerous when the sea is stormy and wild.
Sroth, the River God, who brings life to all the land. Aloe knows that he is not a very loved god in Silverthorne but she believes that he brings water through the lands and honors them therefore.
Aeveen, the Coal Princess and demi-goddess, who burned the land. Aloe remembers what destruction fire can bring and dislikes the goddess out of obvious reasons.
Appearance:Aloe is maybe small but she has a slightly muscular build. She is not too light nor too heavy. Her mane and tail are long and silky and her bright green eyes are framed with long lashes. Her back legs are awkwardly spaced apart with her hooves pointing slightly inwards. It aches her sometimes especially if she has to run fast.
Piebald Defect:
- Bow-legged
Piercings: (not recieved yet!!!)
- Two rings on the tip of her right ear.
- Two studs with leather bands, at the end are three blue beads with white feathers.
History: Aloe is the third generation of some Oakfern renegades living a more or less carefree life. Her grandparents were the first to leave the Oakfern tunnels due to their believes on the gods. They have had a difficult start into the renegade life but they managed to survive. Their first and only daughter was born, Aloe's mother Elyse. Together the little family build a new life where they could think what they wanted. Elyse learned the religious believes from her parents and carried them on.
Through luck Elyse met another Oakfern renegade, Ikran. Since it was difficult enough to find someone from your own herd to mate, they decided to produce an offspring. But it wasn't for love. Ikran and Elyse were more than friends than lovers. And Ikran wouldn't stay with the little family for too long. He was a roamer and he needed to walk the island from one end to the other. He never saw his daughter being born.
When Aloe was finally born the small family was quite surprised. Her coat was covered with white patches all over. They believed that Gaelach had touched her, and everywhere She had touched Aloe, the filly's coat had turned white. The young filly grew up on the outskirt of Glenmore where they would have enough food around the year. The small family group always stayed close to the shore since water was their best way to escape if they got spotted. But with time they would have to move on. Aloe's family would also travel the Western Isles. But they stayed in some territories longer than others. Sometimes they stayed a few years in Silverthorne, Windborne or Glenmore. The dark woods of Blackwood was a forbidden place since all family members were pale. And Oakfern was difficult since they didn't want to get caught by their former herd members.
When Aloe was five years old the small family moved to Windborne for a few years. It was a quiet life up on the island but when the young doe grew up even more she wanted to see the world with her own eyes. So she left Windbourne and her family behind to find her own path. But she would always return to her mother and grandparents if her journey would come to an end.
