Edit:Cawcaw died this afternoon. It was very sudden and quick. I am glad this is the last photo I took of her, because it's just how I loved her. Cuddly, serene, and just a bit haughty.
To my dearest friend. Thank you for sitting around through the tough times, even though you didn't have much choice. You were never a mean bird and never bit me. You were never loud, and were always willing to cuddle up to me when you felt like it. I will miss you so much.

My beautiful little pearl cockatiel, Cawcaw. She's been with me for nearly ten years, I love her so much.
(This is how most birds sleep, btw. One leg tucked up and the head behind their wing. Tardis, my other cockatiel, tends to just fall asleep with his head drooping down by his tummy XD )
When I took this she was sitting on the flap of her cage door, snoozing away. Now she's eating. She's very adventurous and loves to explore the floor (Her favourite spot is under the fridge ) and climb to places otherwise thought impossible for a creature with no arms.
She'll eat anything, and go to any lengths to get to food.
I love my birdies ;~;

Very lovely picture. It is very sad that our loved pets leave us so soon. In last 3 years I lost my chinchilla which wasn't even a year old, and my dog which was a dear friend to me for 13 years. But lets be strong. Their memory is always with us.

I have four cockatiels... I dread the day they'll die (because naturally, I'll outlive them... ).

I'm kinda late...but I'm sorry.. I know what it's like...I cried for a week straight when I lost my cockatiel's sister(I had 2, the one that's living is Male and sitting on my head as I type this). I hope you get through/are through.

yea my bird died too a few weeks ago :\ I had her for almost 16 years...we got her on my birthday and she would've turned 16 with me..sadly she didnt make it... I loved my bird too, I named her spike

I had a cockatiel just like yours called Magic, she died a few months ago and I loved her too.

I had a similar situation July 19th when my sweet little Cliffy passed away. In tribute I got my first tattoo, and it was of him. He meant the world to me. Birds are very kind and loving creatures.
