This is astounding - the fact you used soft pastels makes it even more so! This is such a beautiful piece, and it has amazing photorealism.
I'd love to try using pastels for realistic full-colour drawings, but I think my colour selection is too limited. Did you need many different colours to produce this? (For the skintone variations/shadows in particular?)
