Description
When the Doctor arrives in Morningstar, Kansas, he is immediately greeted with suspicion; it's 1874 and he doesn't wear a stetson, doesn't have a horse and doesn't carry a gun. Plus, he's arrived in the middle of a speight of killings that no one can explain- members of the sprawling town appear to be killing people without any reason and then showing up dead hours later. The townsfolk are starting to think this is 'bad medicine' from the Kiowan Indians, who the town have had an uneasy peace with, all of which is about to end abruptly as the town makes plans to deal with the Kiowans. The Doctor smells the work of a shapeshifter at hand, but with only the storekeeper's daughter onside, how can he find a killer who can change their appearance and find out their motives before more blood is spilt?
