This one looks like a painting. The colors, shadows and colors are warm and nice. The sharp quality alludes to the stark reality of the harsh desert heat.
Great shot. A regular Zane Grey moment.

Thanks! That's one of my favorite desert pics.
The MF camera is is long sold and gone. I wish I would have kept some of the Pentax 6x7 lenses though.
