Description
Northern Goshawk, on a snowy clearing in the forest. For a bird that is a 3rd most common one in my country it is somehow rarer to see than others... People think that it is hard to differentiate it from its close cousin, Accipiter nisus, but for me, when you see your first one, you know for sure it's northern goshawk. Strongly built, muscular bird, quite large and intimidating... Nothing in A. nisus that seems alike...
