I’ve been feeling for a long time that something is lacking in the way I draw, and I’m definitely not very satisfied with a lot of things in that area, but then recently I started to think that maybe the thing that is bothering me at the moment could be in the way I color ? So I really want to try harder. But to do that I need to be able to experiment and try new things, which obviously I’m not going to do on client work
Sometimes it’s hard to just sit down and take the time to actively do some research. So anyway, Belle was this week’s guinea pig. Yes, Belle looks different. I noticed right off that something had changed about your style. Of course I've always liked the way you drew, but I applaud your drive to explore new methods and styles and to grow as an artist.
I really like the way you drew her hands and arms in this, and the rose pattern on the bodice is lovely. The coloring on the red roses gives them a lovely textured look, and the shadows from the window give the work an interesting effect.

Definitely agree with the thought about the contrast. Would also say that it’s a darker than usual picture overall, but that might just be because of the lighting in this particular picture. But yeah, it’s a beautiful a drawing as ever!

Love that she's doing a Princess Peach Brawl pose and I also love that she looks more gothic and mysterious and like she's owning her place as the lady of Beast's castle. It's exquisite and rich with details and roses.

Your paintings are perfect, I love every one of them to bits! 
I also like the shading that you're using on this one! It looks soft and it helps to mix Bella with the scenery behind her back!
