Description Model/Costumer: Me!
Photographer: FilmShooter ([link] )

Yes, I committed the Ultimate Cosplayers Sin: I created dresses out of shiny, shiny satin. I know better now. Aside from the uber-shiny, I love the character of Shampoo and miiiight do it again. Without shiny, shiny satin, of course.

Shampoo Pink Dress Costume: The dress was made with pink satin and red ribbon trim, using McCalls pattern #4369 (which I used when I made my last Shampoo dress.) The lotus was hand painted on, referencing a stencil I found online. I used my previously assembled Shampoo wig, added on crystals for the pigtails and rocked that costume

Shampoo Yellow Dress Costume: The dress was made from a McCalls pattern out of a yellow satin. The trim is pink ribbon. The butterflies were first appliquéd on, then painted on. (The vibrant purple was styled in the same manner....)

I did ballet eons ago, and that pose kind reminded me of a supported arabesque with the leg. A bit dantier pose than Shampoo would do,but I do love it.

I like it. Shoes and dress are very cute indeed.
