I don't remember Pansy ever doing anything bad to Hermione. There must be at least one occasion in canon when Pansy actually caused Hermione harm, but I can't think of any. Can you jog my memory?

It's an imaginary scene thats not in the books but the character of Pansy is in my mind a person like the most Slytherins we know directly. She don' t like any Gryffindors. So it's not so far from canon I think

True, Slytherins don't like Gryffindors and Gryffindors don't like Slytherins, but in canon we see Hermione doing many more actively harmful things to her enemies than we see Pansy doing to *her* enemies. They hate each other for no valid reason on either side, but Slytherins usually confine themselves to nasty words (mudblood, for example), whereas Gryffindors are more often the ones to initiate actual violence, whether physical or magical. Pansy smirks and snarks, while Hermione punches or draws her wand.

That V-card Is the German Prefect-card. Hermione wants to push Pansy away, 'cause she's too near to her. The situation feels dangerous enough for her to remind Pansy of her status as prefect.
