I am thinking the same thing! I love this pair too much , especially the scene when Lockdown takes Optimus prisoner . I don't understand why is not many fan art about them . That's sad . I found a fanfic of this pair but it's only good in 2 first chapters. I don't like Optimus in this fanfic because he's so weak

I understand you ... Some fics shows Optimus to being weak, and I don't like to see that either . I mean come on, in the comic, Prime verse; he was a clerk first (and of course be that archivist will need to trained to fight Cons ) then he learned how to fight and become the warrior we know , even in Movieverse, Optimus in the beginning was more or less of the warrior class, he was more of kind of a archielogist (and leader) of the science division . But then the war started because of Fallen manipulations and Megatron jelously for not being a Prime , and he was force to learn how to be a leader of a entire army and how to fight ....
So why in some fics made Optimus Prime look weak? He is not . He cares for his people and he will do anything to protect them , even if it's means to be a prisoner to the enemy and get tortured and all that stuff ... It's very very annoying to see that ... Sorry, my friend . I really wanted to take this out with someone .

You're welcome. In my opinion, Optimus's always the most honorable leader (although he sometimes mutters, which sounds funny to me )
In TF4, when everybody kept saying the movie was meaningless, I think it's the best of 4 parts. The first time I could see a clear relationship between Optimus and BumbleBee . They're like father and son, especially in some scenes (Besides, I've been obsessed by Ratchet's death. I can't believe my favorite Autobots was killed again, after Ironhide's death )

Yeah, I understand you . In this Universe Optimus has lost his best friends , first Jazz, then Ironhide and now Ratchet ... But like a phrase I listened before "Things needs to get worse to get better" (it was like that? I don't remember very well ).
Optimus is a being of survival of emotion , he can take it but sometimes that emotions get him when everything seems to lose control ... Poor of him ... He can rest in peace . And now he must find his "creators" to sale some payback !
