We went to Pompeii at the earliest possible hour and boy was it worth it! It was so beautiful. The sun was so perfect that I could not help being absolutely amazed by the sight of the city. We were the only ones there in the morning so it gave me time to reflect on the city and the people who lived there. I was overwhelmed. Definitely one of the greatest experiences of my life!
