I love shots like this. For some reason, if you photograph someone in the back, you create a feeling of being there too. That is exactly what photography does: making people being where you are. I think this particular photo could have been cropped a bit more on the left or perhaps position a bit more to the right, so the subject is really overlooking the entire photo, if you get what I mean.
