Awwwwww lots of cute! well I am almost set up in my new house, just need to get my computer here *its at the old place picking it up tomorow* T_T and I will contribute to the cowtardy ness. Now if you excuse me I think my heart just exploded from the cuteness. I know all the cow tards should select a bovine from another artists, and each draw a calf picture in said artists own style!

Yay! I'm glad they turned out ok, my pen has been blotching and smearing a lot as of late (ever since I ran out of ink in my trusty old hotel pen), and my brown colored pencil prefers to scratch the paper more often than leave color on it, so no doodle dumps have been quite up to sub-par as of late.
lol, you and Kayla-san both liked Marco's face best. I guess it's about time he's not the butt of a joke. And yes, I was pretty pleased with baby Cotton, too. And finally getting an excuse to draw Yuan again was nice, too. Who knows, maybe Bluebelle will take a liking to pranking Azubah so he'll have to show up more often to keep her safe. lD
Any yay, #23! It's always super nice to find girls who disagree with abortion, because the most repeated and unfounded argument I get from whiny little pro-choice teenagers who want to be able to sleep around without their parents finding out they got pregnant is "well you're a boy, so being against abortion is sexist." If you ask me, abortion is way more sexist, 'cause it turns girls into sex toys that you can scare into getting an abortion if you get her pregnant. Ridiculousness.

Yeah, I hear that sexist card played a lot. Whenever I hear/see an abortion debate though, the pro-choicers give the woman against it a similar drill, though. Saying things like "you must want all your rights stripped away then" or "I don't understand how another woman can be all for having no rights. You're against your own sex"
Sorry, but murder shouldn't even be a choice. If you don't want the baby that badly then give it up for adoption. Someone else will love them. And theeeeeeeen they open the "orphan" overload the debate. Yes its sad for any child to have to grow-up without any parents or being bounced around foster homes but gosh, since when was that a reason to kill them??
I remember a debate we had in high school and some girls who were against it made an exception for rape-cases saying it was okay then. I mean that's a very tough thing but even in that case I'm still against it. I remember reading an article once where a woman kept her rape-baby and that was an awesome read indeed. It's not fair, no. Its a big pill to swallow but stop and think for a second. Its not the baby's fault.
For me, the second the sperm touches the egg it's living. If anyone starts going on about unfeeling fetuses my ears are plugged. I know fairly early on the heart starts beating. If that's not enough to sway some then I don't know what is. But like I said for me first impact equates a life, no matter how small or unformed it is. It's the earliest stages of creation and Ill never understand how someone can disrespect something so sacred.
Sorry for the text wall. Now Im all worked up.

Yeah, I guess it all comes down to people just being willfully ignorant. D: Shame that in a day with such an overload of knowledge that is so easy to obtain, people can force themselves to stay in the dark for so long.
And yes, seriously, the orphan/adoption problem isn't the fault of the baby, its the fault of the people all around us. Personally, I'm not even sure if I'll be able to wait until I've had a kid of my own before I adopt. Granted, I'll definitely wait to adopt until I'm married since a single guy taking kids under his roof could come across questionable and kids need a mom and a dad, but still, my pastor has gotten me stoked about adopting a kid. He said that if just one family from every church in our county adopted a single kid, we'd be able to shut down the orphanages in Central Florida. What it all comes down to is that even among people claiming to be Christians, there aren't enough people who know what's important in life. James said that true Christianity was taking care of widows and orphans, but most people just ignore that 'cause they don't want to give up their lifestyle to be able to afford to help or be inconvenienced in any way by people who have nothing but love to give back. I dunno, I sure hope I still feel this way after I'm married, 'cause people aren't going to stop making stupid, selfish decisions any time soon, and that means there are just going to be more and more orphans (not that all orphans are orphans just because their parents didn't want them), and worse, more and more abortions. I think people need to start seeing that the problem isn't necessarily orphans and abortion, but symptoms of the bigger problem that we're all selfish and don't realize that sex has a purpose and that kids are important. D:
And yes, I agree about the rape thing, too. Sure, it's a terribly wrong thing to do to someone, and it's not an easy thing to go through, but we need to see that the children are more important than our problems. Aborting a rape child is no worse than refusing to feed a homeless person just because you don't want to be inconvenienced, it's putting one's own convenience above the rights and needs of others. And by that same logic, the one nobody wants to hear: putting one's wants and convenience above the rights of another is exactly what rape is to begin with. And really, again, it falls back on our shoulders. If a teenage girl knew that she'd be loved and helped throughout the pregnancy and given help with the kid afterward, rather than being judged by everyone around her, maybe it wouldn't even be so bad. Maybe churches are part of the problem behind abortions... we're so full of people who said a prayer or walked an aisle and signed a card and never realize that they're no better off than they were before because they refused to give God control of their life, so they sit proudly in their church pew and scowl at the pregnant girl in the corner because she's "so morally inferior" to them because they said some mystic prayer that will get them into heaven. Sometimes I wonder if that maybe even disgusts God as much as abortion does... Rape, abortion, not caring for the poor and hurting around us, sometimes I feel like it's all the same. Sorry if I sort of got off-topic there, but it's something I've been having to work out in my own life as of late that felt kind of relevant, so I sorta got carried away with it.
And yes, I agree there, too. I think another huge problem in our world is that people think that people make babies, when it's actually God who makes babies. If God didn't want a baby to be created, then it wouldn't happen. On the other hand, if He does want a baby, then He'll start that process, and nobody should interfere by cutting it short.
No worries, I had my own wall of text to reply with. lD

..... you know, everything you said is absolutely right. This right here needs to be said more often about orphans and stuff. Adopting a child has entered my mind a few times but it was always a fleeting thought and I didn't even start dwelling on it until I found out I may have trouble having my own kids some day, so it may very well be the only way I can have a child. But what is sad is that it took that for me to start taking the fleeting thought more seriously.
I just never even thought about that, but your pastor is so right its not even funny. There are plenty of able-bodied people out there. Whether they're families or single people who could take these kids. We're so caught up with the way we live today that we don't stop enough to think and remember to be more loving D: I try to be, though. When I lived in Atlanta for school I saw lots of homeless people and always bought some things for them when I went to the store sometimes. But after reading that about orphans and then reflecting on myself, I feel very selfish right now. I'm not going to pretend to be all holy and just because I know I'm not as close to God as I should be right now, I haven't been to church in about a year, but its not because I don't want to go. But that's a story for another day. It sounds really cheesy but I really admire how close you seem to be with God. It inspires me.
But ugh, if there ever was a doubt in my mind on whether I would or would not adopt, I definetly will now. It's just kind of scary and eye-opening to realize how blind/selfish I may be until someone pointed it out to me. Huh, now I'm wondering why on earth I haven't seen more ads on tv promoting adoption all these years? Because honestly, at least for me, its just something I didn't even think about. I thought more about homeless people because I saw them more often and they were in my face. Hard to ignore. I've seen commercials for kids in poor countries, for cancer, and even to adopt from animal shelters, but where on earth are the ads for orphans? I really think if more people were reminded that there are parentless kids out there, a lot more adoptions would occur.
And yep and yep and yep again to everything else you said. I totally agree. That is totally half the reason probably these girls get abortions. Because all everyone does is look down on them. And yes again, I think its all the same too. Selfishness and turning a blind eye to someone who is suffering when you are FULLY capeable of helping in some way, no matter how small could be considered a sin too. Case in point, the homeless people. I'm not rich myself but If I can walk from my dorm to buy myself something from the store, there's no excuse as to why I cant buy the homeless guy I passed a fresh jug of water or a sandwhich who has nothing.
Ugh, thank you for being a more open thinker. I'm so tired of these black and white thinkers or people who are so engrossed in their 'true' religion. You're a fresh breath of air.

lol, well, there's nothing I can say that I haven't learned from somewhere else before, so I really can't even claim all that as my own, I'm sure. Though I do know what you mean, never seeing things as something that could be so close if we actually wanted them to be. One of the guys who spends a lot of time in our college group recently talked about the same thing, how they wanted to have their own kids first and it always just seemed like something they'd "get around to" until they finally decided this year they'd do it. Came at sort of a bad time, though, 'cause his wife's purse was stolen and their bank account was cleaned out. D: But on the other hand, maybe that's how I can finally get involved, since I've been saving to be able to buy a house when I finally find someone to settle down with, but I suppose there might be more important things I could use that money for, so I want to see if maybe I can help them get their kid. While I know single guy isn't the best type to go out and get a kid, I figure there are other ways I can get involved in the solution.
I also know what you mean about homeless people, they can sometimes be a lot more obvious. It's definitely important to help them, too, but there was a lady who spoke at a convention down here recently who said that "for these kids, there is no 'Plan B', if they don't get adopted, there's nothing else for them" and it sorta made me realize that she's right. Well, that and we know this homeless guy named Rick who recently managed to get a job, so while they definitely need help getting back on their feet, they're far more capable of supporting themselves after they've received help. Definitely not to minimize the homeless problem, moreso to emphasize the orphan problem. Ahh, trust me, you don't need to be admiring me, I've definitely got my own problems. I mean, with Jesus as the standard, I know we all fall pretty obscenely short, but sometimes I feel like I fall a lot shorter than the rest.
I know what you mean with the ads, too. I think the main problem is that you can use a commercial to 'guilt' someone into spending money, especially in America 'cause we're all so rich and a lot of us can do without $30 a month or a donation of $20 or something. But 'guilting' someone into changing their lifestyle to have to care for a kid who's going to cost them a lot more money and time as well isn't as easy. It's mostly the convenience factor, I think. Not to be a downer, but people in the world really aren't "good" like everyone wants us to believe. Even when people do good things, the root cause is usually so they'll feel good about themselves. It's really the whole problem with religion, too. People think that there are things they can do to make themselves good enough to "make it to heaven" when the truth is that we're all hopeless on our own. And I'm definitely not a stranger to that concept, I was raised on and for almost 2 decades believed the concept that saying a specific prayer was enough to slide under the garage door of heaven, and I had to have a lot of eye-openers to finally see how silly religion is. I guess that's sort of a a rabbit trail from adoption commercials, though.
And yes, again I agree on homeless people, that's something that I only fairly recently actually finally got around to doing something about. My little brother and sister have been going downtown where a group hands out food and then just hangs out with the folks to talk to them and give them company and stuff, and it was months before I finally started going. It definitely helps to see that they're real people and hear their stories. Unfortunately, the people of Orlando are oblivious and selfish and a law was passed recently stating that we can only feed groups of 25 people or more 2 times a year. It's sort of ironic, the government has no problem taking our money to pay for these bailouts and unemployment (some for people who flat out don't want to work) and all this nonsense that we should be taking care of, but they won't let us give people food? I dunno, I fear for our country when the government has to do everything because people don't care enough to, even to the point where the government demands a monopoly over "charity". lol, I should probably move on before I show my less patient side. <_<
Fff, like I said, I haven't really said anything that I haven't been taught in some way by someone, and I definitely wasn't like this a few years ago. Though these are encouraging things to hear, since seeing growth is something I've always had a problem with, and my trust tends to waiver when I can't see any growth, 'cause it reminds me that I really have no idea how to grow and can't grow myself. Trusting completely and fully in God is a pretty tough thing sometimes since I'm so apt to try (and fail) to grow myself when I don't see change, so a little encouragement is always nice.

Aw well the fact that you repeated it and accepted and agreed with it is as good as saying it yourself if you ask me X3 Im just glad it got passed along by agreeing individuals so it could make it to my own ears.
And aw yeah ;3; that sucks about the money situation just when they were getting a kid. I'm sure they'd appreciate the help. Personally I think a single guy (or gal) is just as capeable of taking care of a kid as a couple so long as they have the resources and willingness to do so. I wont argue a mom and dad would most certainly be the best scenario, but love from the right person and proper care, and guidace, and I think they'd be just as happy. But as you said Im sure it would come across to some as questionable. And I can understand why.
And that's very true, you're so right. The kids do need the help even more so. And with the adds too, I think you nailed that one in the bullseye, that makes perfect sense. It is 100 times easier to hand over a $20 than make an 18+ year commitment to a child. But still..I wonder if it'd help. I wonder how often americans remember orphans. Whether its a guilt-trip or not I think some kind of mass advertisting would be enough of a little ding to able-bodied families to make them consider. Couldn't hurt? ;3;
And aw, well Ill put it this way and say I admire your effort towards God. We all have our problems or 'crosses to carry' like mom puts it so elegantly Well, whatever your crosses are, hang in there. And you're not alone with the falling shorter than the rest feeling. It was easy for me to fall into a state of complacency concerning my relationship with God but lately I've been feeling a need to correct that. This convo helped that a bit too. So I'm a'fallin' still but hopefully Ill find a branch to grab onto soon.
And... yeah about the silly prayers. I was raised in a super religious church and we had those very mystic prayers you speak of. For as long as I can remember , and as much as it pains me to say it I just never felt like I got a single thing out of going to our (highly religious) church. It always felt so superficial and staged and well, a joke. So recently now that Im older, I just stopped going. I loved going to my friend's non-denomination church when I younger and Ive been meaning to go find another 'round these parts.
And that charity thing sounds really messed up. .__. I second all of that. But that's really cool that you guys went out and did that. It is interesting hearing the stories of those people. During the last week of school before summer let out these guys came by and did a screening of a documentary of the stories of the some of the homeless people in Atlanta. Since I saw alot of them frequently I of course was very interested and went to go see it. It was called 'my concrete mattress' if I remember right. But yeah they all have a unique stories and where some came from before becoming homless was surprising.
And yay keep truckin'!
I said 'and' alot, but Im too lazy to go back and add some variety in all of that. XD

lol, actually, an update on that couple, as it turns out, she is now pregnant, and adoption agencies in the country they are looking to adopt from won't let you adopt within 6 months of having a baby, so they have a lot of time to save up again. Hopefully I can still help out down the line, though. Yeah, I agree that people with the right support and resources can raise a kid on their own, and one parent is definitely better than none, but I do also know that God created the family structure to have a mom and a dad, and there's definitely no outdoing God. I guess in the end, it's always going to point back to God knows what's best. Especially boys without a father figure, they're always pumping out studies that prove boys without a dad are far more likely to end up in prison and such things. Though I do have to agree that having one parent has to better than none.
I also agree that ads to raise awareness couldn't hurt. Sometimes I wonder if maybe they just lack the funding for that kind of thing, too, since they have to pay for all those kids' housing and food and other various supplies. Either way, it is sad, as you pointed out, that animals get donation drive ads and human beings don't. Just a messed up value system, I guess.
Ahh, well I'm definitely glad if anything I do can be of help. And yes, I definitely recommend trying to find a good church group that's not so focused on actions and prayers and such, too. That'll definitely help a lot, since the Bible says we all have to start out with the milk of being taught before we can move on to the meat of teaching ourselves. To be honest, I've been praying for you and a few other folks that God's sorta just set down in my mind for the past few months, so it's definitely encouraging for me as well to hear that God's been tugging on you a bit. We never stop growing, so hopefully we've both got bright futures ahead of us.
And I want to say something other than "Yes, homeless people are awesome" but I am sleepy. lD So I will just say Yes, homeless people are awesome, good night.

12. yes he has! i blame the crystal blue eyes you've drawn him with.
13. yes, yes she should! *carefully pulls lipstick away*
14. "mooooommm!-" that word alone made me laugh out loud! i love him with his big horns! (i just pictured him wiht baby horns.....it was odd looking.. )
15. im waiting to hear the banjo plucking sound effects! |D "Twang-Twang"
16. now i've drawn Nadra as a baby, but i've never een blue as one! her poofy hair is so adoreable! (shoot, everything on this page is adorable! XD )

ANYAYBACKTOTHRPICTURE! i love when you draw Rodric as a baby too! it seems all my characters were either fluffy, or chubby as kids. and you draw the roundness so well! thanks for encouraging my uniformity.
19. wow, hadn't seen Yuan in a while! i miss the big eyed thing!
20. like the rodric and sebastian of the horse world!
21-22. Sleeping babies! coming to a theater near you! XD
23. Yes, in so many of the wonderful things God has given us, our own selfish sin gets in the way, with dire consequenses. my aunt and i were driving one day, and saw a churchyard filled with small, white crosses. a sign was posted b the road, stating "for every cross, there are _______(im sorry i can remember the grossly uge amount) Babies aborted." i felt so sorrowful, just looking at it, when my aunt chimed in "for every cross, there are _______ women using their feminine rights." i had forgotten that so many people, (even ones who adored us as kids) believe it's better to abort the 'problem'. thank you for the reminder.
God help us all.

1. lol, I always like Belle all the time.
2. Yessss, baby Zoey would probably make an excellent pillow. Adult Zoey would probably be more like a soft boulder to lean against under a tree.
3. lol, naw, she didn't learn to breath fire for several several years. Probably somewhere between 50 and 100. Hopefully Rodric's genes make the kids develop faster, lest we never get to make babyfire jokes.
4-5. Yeah, if there are ever short jokes, they're usually aimed at her.
6. lol, CC liked Marco best, too. I guess I just got lucky, 'cause he and Goliath were not turning out well at all in the light sketch.
7. Yeah, Belle wasn't about to let his momma sell him for veal. He's way better off in this group than with his real "mom", anyway.
8. lol, yeah, May was actually born fully grown, so I had to cheat to make her a baby.
9. Haha, yes, kangamoo said he's always been like that.
10. Yay! I'm the first to show his eyes!
11. YES. I would go out and buy Zoey and Cotton and Belle pillows right away if they were made.
12. lol, seems like roses (yeah, that's what that squiggly flower thing is supposed to be) have become sort of his symbol. lD
13. Yeah! More Sadie, wooo! Let's just be glad she didn't get into the skin creams and expensive lotions.
14. lol, yeah, thinking about the huge guy saying mooooom in a somewhat whiny voice is silly, even if he is a baby at the time.
15. MUSICAL BABIES.
16. Yay baby Blue! I guess this is the first time I've drawn her.
17. lol, we'll have to keep an eye on her, gotta make sure nothing poisonous gets in there. D:
18. lol, babies are just better chubby and floofy.
19. Yeah, it was good to have an excuse to draw him again. You'd think with all the dragons and lions and predators around, Bluebelle would be in more danger, but everyone's pretty good natured.
20. lol, now I envision Rodric and Sebastian mimicking F&F's "sneaky" picture.
23. Yeah, it's definitely a bummer. I always like finding girls who disagree with abortion, 'cause whiny teenage girls who just want sex with no consequences love to pull the "well you're just sexist for being against abortion" card on me, which is ridiculous. There was a pack of girls who hounded me a while back, and nearly every other response was "Oh yeah, we pulled the sexist card, no matter how inept we are at defending our position, you still lose because you're a boooooy and boys don't get an opinion about abortion." You could tell that was the only thing they could manage to regurgitate, because they ignored every single one of lilwyverngirl's posts, since they couldn't come up with anything against a girl. If anything, I'd say a practice that turns girls into consequence-free sex toys is the real sexist position around here, and it's sad to say that that's not even the most important issue there.
